Joe Hargan DA PPAI PAI is having a retrospective 'A look behind' at the Glasgow Art Club, 185 Bath Street, Glasgow. The preview is by invite only but the exhibition is open to the public from Saturday 15th October-Saturday 12th November.
The President would like to give due notice of the Paisley Art Institute AGM set for Thursday 20th October at 7pm in the Paisley Art Galleries. The agenda includes matters and discussions relating to the election of Diplomates (PAIs) to the Institute that may result in changes to the Constitution.
Applicants for Artist Membership should deliver their 3 indicative works to the Paisley Museum reception on Saturday 15th October between 12.00-14.00; they will be taken in by the President and other PAI representatives. The works will be viewed by the selection committee on the evening of the AGM, Thursday 20th October, and can be collected on the following Saturday 22nd October between 12.00-14.00 from PAI representatives. Results will be indicated.
The Institute now has a central mailbox for all postal correspondence obviating the need for periodic office bearer home address changes. Please use the mailbox address with immediate effect. The address can be prefaced with 'PAI Secretary', 'Membership Secretary', 'Treasurer' or as required.
