Jean Bell and Don McNeil DA (Fyne Studios): Have been invited to exhibit in the Arran Distillery from March 2016 through to the middle of June 2016. Title of exhibition is 'Arran Colours and the Arran Collection'. Fyne Studios is also exhibiting at the Blairmore Gallery.
Euan McGregor BA(Hons) PAI: Is in a 2 person show with Sam Cartman at the Lime Tree Gallery, Bristol, 3th Sept 2016-4th Oct 2016. Euan is also Showing at McGill Duncan Galleryfrom September 1st 2016.
Hazel Campbell is having a solo show, 'Outside Influences' at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries from 27th May 2016 - 11th July 2016 (www.dumgal.gov.uk). The show charts Hazel's work over the last two years and makes reference to the Scottish artists who have influenced her progress. There is a workshop being run by Hazel at Gracefield Arts Centre, 28 Edinburgh Road, Dumfries, DG1 1JQ, on 11th June 2016 from 10.00 until 16.00

Charlie Jamieson MFA PPAI PAI: Is taking part in a three or four person exhibition at The Doubtfire Gallery in Edinburgh that runs from June 17th to July 23rd 2016.
Joyce Gunn Cairns: Is having a two person exhibition with Alasdair Gray (now in apparent full recovery), in the Sutton Gallery, Dundas Street, Edinburgh, throughout the month of October 2016.
Lesley Banks: Is currently Artist in Residence at Scottish Canals funded by Creative Scotland and supported by Falkirk Community Trust and Scottish Canals.
This Residency will result in a touring exhibition in 2017 beginning in the Park Gallery, Calendar House Falkirk then The Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie. Also:
She will be taking part in 'Forth Valley Art Beat',11th-19th June 2016, and opening a Falkirk Studio, The Old Tea Shop in Calendar Park.
Ronnie F. Smith: Is part of a 2-person exhibition with Sandy Murphy in the Roger Billcliffe Gallery, Glasgow, running from 23rd April 2016 through May. Private View 22nd April.
Simon Manby: Is currently in the South of France having just opened a solo exhibition of work of about 25 pieces of sculpture and the same of drawings and prints. He appears to be well received with introductions to 3 local mayors and guests mainly from Paris and the South of France but none from Scotland!
Liz Dulley: Has a Solo Exhibition ‘Inspired in Japan 4th –17th June 2016 at Dundee Botanic Gardens, open daily 10am – 4.30pm, Free entry.

Jacqueline Orr RSW RGI: RGI Open Annual Exhibition opens 12th November 2016 and runs until 27th November 2016 at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Call for entries information will be available from April onwards via www.royalglasgowinstitute.org
The RGI Kelly Gallery is also hosting an exhibition of the late Jack Knox's work running from 16th April until 30th April 2016. This is a collaborative exhibition with the Compass Gallery. Jack Knox RSA RSW RGI trained at Glasgow School of Art and went on to teach at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, before being appointed Head of Drawing & Painting at Glasgow School of Art. Known for his vibrant paintings and skilled draughtsmanship the exhibition will include work spanning his full painting career. J Orr.
Ruaraig Maciver PAI: Recent unveiling of a life size bronze Fisheries Memorial for the Twin villages of Cairnbulg and Inverallochy, next to Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire .The Memorial depicts a fisher woman and her young daughter looking out to sea .The foreshore setting is quite beautiful and any members passing that way are recommended to have a look for the view alone. Basically any artist who has had work reproduced in a UK published book, or magazine, may be eligible to a 'share of the pot' - but they have to make a claim each year. Karl Stern/Stern by Name, sternbyname.com: Karl's work will be exposed at an Art Fair for the first time in England at the Liverpool Contemporary Art Fair, World Museum, Liverpool from the 3rd – 6th July on the ‘Arusha’ Art Stand. He is showing at the Pittenweem Art Fair, in August.
Fidra Fine Art Gallery at Glasgow Art Fair 22-24th April 2016 at the Old Fruitmarket. PAI members Neil Macdonald, Lesley Banks, Alice McMurrough and others will be represented by Alan Rae of Fidra Gallery. Sandy Murphy, Michael Durning, Jimmy Cosgrove and Euan McGregor have just exhibited with Fidra.
Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie is showing elected RGI work in Autumn 2016. Many of the RGIs are also PAIs so Jimmy Cosgrove, Helen Wilson, Sandy Murphy, Hazel Nagl, Neil Macdonald and Alice McMurrough, to name a few, are also showing.
James Spence RSW RGI PAI. We have learned of the passing of James Spence in March 2016. He was a long-standing member and a PAI Diplomate.
Born in 1929 his artistic career spanned 60 years, he was a teacher and with his wife, Anda Paterson RSW RGI PAI and James Morrison RSA RSW, was a co-founder of the Glasgow Group in 1957. He exhibited widely at home, Europe and Russia. His work attracted many awards at PAI and RSW Annual Exhibitions and from the BBC. His paintings are held in many important collections including H.M.The Queen. His humour and longevity connected generations of Scottish art allowing many a young artist to see long dead and exalted figures in an informal and realistic light.
